PARADOR DE MONFORTE DE LEMOS

The Parador is a 9th century monastery, and is located in the Monumental complex of San Vicente do Pino, formed by the Keep, the Monastery of San Vicente do Pino and the Palace of the Counts of Lemos. The building has a central neoclassical cloister of exceptionally carved stonework, an ideal place for holding events. It is a privileged place to discover the Ribeira Sacra, its rivers, vineyards, Romanesque churches, gastronomy and festivities..., as well as the Sil Canyons or the O Caurel mountain range.

The hotel has an outdoor solarium area with umbrellas and loungers, and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool.

The rooms have been decorated in a subtle monastic style, with tiled floors, light tones and wooden furniture.

There is another gastronomic space, the Enxebre De Lemos, which serves traditional Galician cuisine. Some of its dishes are Pulpo á Feira (boiled octopus with olive oil and paprika), Empanada de raxo (pie), semi-roasted cod on sautéed vegetables and sultanas, and delicious caramelised filloa (thin crepe).
